MUSIC FOR YOUTH
MUSIC FOR TOTS (ages 3 - 5)
Tuesdays - 3:30 - 4:30pm - $350

SUZUKI TOTS STRINGS CLASS (ages 3 - 6)
Fridays - 4:00 - 5:00pm - $400

YOUTH MUSICAL INSTRUMENT OR VOICE / ENSEMBLE (ages 6 - 13)
Complete immersion in music program includes 3 hours per week of instrument (or voice) and musicianship classes or for advanced students 2 hours of ensemble class and 1 hour private lesson per week..
Beginning students - Tuedays & Thursdays 4:30-6:00pm - $950 ( This is a rate of $19 per hour of music instruction - compare this to private lesson rates of $55-65 per hour or regular small group class rates of $25 per hour - Tuition payment plans are available upon request).
Includes instruments (or voice) and musicianship classes both days (assessment suggested for new SoBe Arts students)
Begins January 24 through May 24
Beginning/Intermediate students - Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:30-6:00pm - $950 ($19 per hour of music instruction - compare this to private lesson rates of $55-65 per hour or regular small group class rates of $25 per hour- Tuition payment plans are available upon request).

MUSICAL THEATER - for Teens & Adults (ages 13 & up - audition required)
(8 week course): Mondays and Wednesdays- 6:30pm - 8:00pm

SMALL GROUP CLASSES (open to all beginning, intermediate & advanced students - Separate from after-school classes - arranged for various times and days)
(10 weeks, 1 hour per class) Days & Times TBA - Tuition: $250

PRIVATE LESSONS - Monday thru Saturday (open to all beginning, intermediate & advanced students) 9:00AM-10:00PM 7 Days a Week - all ages and levels in music, theater or dance. To schedule lessons register and contact the Office.

Tuition: SoBe Arts annual membership fee and one half tuition payment is required immediately upon registration to secure your child's place in the program - may be made online or in person via check/ cash. Balance of tuition due prior to first day of classes. Tuition payment plans are available upon request. .
Annual Membership fee: a $25 individual or $40 family annual membership fee is required at time of registration. Students who have not yet participated in any SoBe Arts programs previously need to pay the membership fee and are required to take a simple assessment interview at the institute prior to acceptance in the program.

2nd Child Tuition discount 25% - 3rd Child Tuition discount 50%
Scholarships, Partial scholarships are available for all Arts for Youth Programs depending on size of family, financial circumstance and/or talent as well as funding availablility. Contact office (305) 674-9220 for financial aid forms and additional Scholarship information.
Registration will continue throughout the semester with tuition pro-rated based on weeks remaining. All classes follow the Miami-Dade County School Calendar for holidays.

At SoBe Institute of the Arts our roster of professional instructors are selected based on several key factors:

Parking Information - MAP
Free parking for anyone until 6pm in residential zones. There is metered street parking everywhere in area (between Washington Avenue and Collins Avenue). There is a small parking lot on Liberty and 21st Street and a large municipal parking lot on Collins Avenue between 21st and 22nd Streets. There is also parking behind the convention center (walk canal to SoBe Arts)

*It is well-documented that music education programs can successfully address diverse academic and social needs, such as: advancing academic achievement due to transferable study skills and enhanced self-esteem; developing attention skills, self-expression and physical dexterity; broadening one’s understanding and appreciation of the world; and improving abilities such as self-discipline, collaboration, communication with others, and creativity. 1
Music education opportunities are increasingly limited within the schools – especially for youth whose test scores are low – as arts electives are reduced. Quality arts education outside of school is even more difficult to find, and still more difficult to afford, despite a variety of city and private programs. Our mission is to make music and arts education available to all.
