“Each student is an individual, likewise their music education should reflect that. I try not to blanket all my students with one method or approach that seems to work for most of them. Rather, I make a great effort into understanding what a student or parent wants to get out lessons, what a the student needs to accomplish this, and what individual advantages and disadvantages a student may have, and then I begin to formulate a ‘method’ in cooperation with the student for achieving these goals. Can I guarantee a student will become the next Eric Clapton or Santana? No, but I can guarantee my honest hard work and full support of whatever they wish to accomplish with music.”
